Associate Degree and Higher Diploma

Opened in 2000, the HKU SPACE Community College provides holistic education for secondary school graduates to prepare them for further studies and employment. Another Community College project, in collaboration with Po Leung Kuk, was launched and the HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Community College (HPCC) was established in 2006. The two Community Colleges offer a diversified range of programmes in broad-based associate degree, pre-associate degree, and the specialized professionally-oriented higher diploma. (more)

International Bachelor's Degree and Postgraduate Diploma

The Centre for International Degree Programmes (CIDP) works with renowned overseas universities in offering more than 20 full-time undergraduate programmes in Hong Kong for sub-degree graduates. Since its establishment in 2003, around 5,000 students have successfully obtained their degree qualifications in art and design, business studies, information technology, social, cultural and media studies, and tourism and hospitality. Some have also continued to pursue higher qualifications in local or international institutions. In line with the growing demand in Hong Kong, full-time post-graduate diploma programme in Media and Cultural Critique will be launched in 2010. (more)

Corporate Training

Executive development and corporate training are of growing importance as individuals and organizations strive to remain competitive and successful under rapid economic changes and dynamic business environment. This growth is reflected by a dramatic increase in training requests from corporate clients, individual executives and professionals. The Centre for Executive Development and Corporate Training has, over the years, earned an excellent reputation for delivering a comprehensive range of quality programmes, well supported by highly respected academics from HKU faculties and much sought-after senior corporate executives, government officials and professionals. The School is dedicated to provide high quality education services to mainland China students. Currently the operations are divided into two main parts: Institute for China Business (ICB) which serves the need of professional and senior executives, and HKU SPACE Global College Suzhou for high school leavers.

China is a large and developing market with new needs emerging all the time. The Institute for China Business focuses on offering programmes of different disciplines to professionals and senior executives in Mainland China. The programmes are offered by three centres in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, together with joint centres collaborating with renowned universities in cities including Guangzhou and Hangzhou.  Professional and Executive Education programmes provided by the Institute help to improve the professional standard of management personnel in Mainland China and foster a new generation of Chinese business leaders. HKU SPACE Global College Suzhou was established in 2005 to meet the long-term demands of economic and social development in the Yangtze River Delta region. The College has designed career-oriented, tertiary education programmes that are international and practical, and accredited by globally recognised relevant professional bodies and universities.
