  • Quality Assurance in HKU SPACE

    The Quality Assurance in HKU SPACE - the QA Booklet, is an abridged version of the School's Quality Assurance Manual. It contains the underlying policies and principles of the Quality Assurance System in HKU SPACE. The publication of this QA Booklet is to facilitate a general understanding of the School's QA System. The electronic version of the QA Booklet can be viewed and downloaded from here for reference. The QA Booklet has been translated into Chinese. In case of disagreement on the interpretation of the contents of the Booklet, the English version shall prevail.

  • Book on Lifelong Learning

    HKU SPACE, as a leading provider of quality continuing education, spares no effort in promoting Lifelong Learning. A recent example is the publication of Lifelong Learning in Action, a collection of 32 essays by HKU SPACE teachers, other practitioners and eminent international scholars well acquainted with continuing and professional education (CPE) in Hong Kong. The book provides "... a thorough treatment of the topic (of continuing education)..." said Professor Richard Taylor, Director of Continuing Education Development, School of Continuing Education University of Leeds

    The first section of this three-part book traces recent local CPE developments in Hong Kong and offers an up-to-date account of policy, programmes and provision. The second part contains a wealth of ideas and examples illustrating the practice of Lifelong Learning in Hong Kong. The third part examines the forces shaping Hong Kong's post-secondary education and explores emergent issues such as work-based and on-line learning.

    The book is edited by HKU SPACE School Secretary and Registrar John Cribbin and Senior Programme Director Peter Kennedy, and published by Hong Kong University Press (ISBN 962-209-578-X). It is now available at major local book stores.

  • Healthy Living Style The Chinese Way

    Fourteen HKU SPACE Chinese Medicine professors gave their ideas of a healthy living style in a book to commemorate the School's 50th Anniversary and promote healthy living style in Chinese way.
