我留意到學歷在現今的就業環境越來越重要，所以在港大附屬學院取得工商管理副學士(會計及財務)後，於CIDP繼續升學，並按我自己的興趣撰擇了有關會計學的海外學位課程。我認為海外學位有助增強就業競爭力；同時，教授由海外來港授課，讓我更全面了解課程內容，提高我的英語溝通技巧。
港大附屬學院工商管理副學士讓我打好基礎，做專題報告時所學到的演講技巧、人際溝通技巧及時間管理等，都對我升讀大學很有幫助。
我在開學前參加了CCSU舉辦的迎新營， 認識了一班有共同目標的同學，大家互相交流讀書心得，令考試時更得心應手。而當日我亦認識了很多師兄師姐，他們分享了很多經驗，令我們更快適應校園生活。
港大附屬學院不單著重學生的成績，背後支援亦做得很好，導師會教我們選報大學的策略、為我們寫推薦信等，這些輔導工作都不是我預期得到的。
高考成績不理想，我未能升讀大學的工商管理學士課程。仔細考慮後，我放棄了JUPAS的Bachelor of Science的學位，選擇了港大附屬學院修讀工商管理副學士，希望能升讀我心儀的學系--香港大學的經濟金融學系。這一年我獲益良多，豐富了學術知識之餘，我的溝通和演說技巧也大大提高。現在，我獲得香港大學取錄修讀經濟金融學學士課程，除此之外，城大和浸大的金融系也取錄了我。我很感謝學院給我繼續學習和升學的機會，以及導師在升學和學術問題上給我的寶貴意見。
The College has provided me with a lot of opportunities to learn and experience. The lecturers guide me towards the learning goals and help me to get prepared for my future studies and career. Taking the initiative is crucial to my learning process as I am in a college but not secondary school anymore. Despite being unsuccessful in getting into any university after graduation from Form 7, HKU SPACE Community College let me experience the teaching mode in tertiary institutions. Lastly, the counselling team in the College is very helpful and has provided valuable advice to students on issues of future studies and career. They organize regular workshops, talks, as well as mock interviews for students, and provide useful materials which are beneficial to the students’ personal development. All in all, studying in the College is very worthwhile.
It is surprising not only to me but everyone that I have got an offer of a degree programme in arts while I am currently reading an associate degree programme of business administration. The versatility of subjects provided by HKU SPACE Community College has placed me into an advantageous position. For example, Besides studying business-related subjects like marketing and management, at the same time I have to study sociology, applied ethics, and subjects like food and body which are highly applicable to our daily life. I truly understand the reason behind.
To be a successful businessman, possessing all-rounded knowledge is the key because every single area of knowledge is related to business. Furthermore, subjects like applied ethics and sociology could help enhance our critical thinking and analytical skill, which are also well received in all career fields. On top of that, I finally become all-rounded when I graduated from HKU SPACE Community College. It is no wonder why I could get a degree programme in arts from HKU. After all, I truly believe studying here has opened up more than one door for me, and there are options for you to take.
Studying in HKU SPACE Community College gives me the opportunity to understand more about different fields of studies and my own interest. In the AD programme, I have acquired not only the professional academic knowledge, but more importantly presentation and analytical skills, which are very useful for my future studies and work. Besides, the College lecturers are very helpful and have discussed with me thoroughly regarding the university programmes. Although in the past two years it has been a hard time, I am happy that I can study with aspiring and competitive classmates in the College and develop positive thinking.
Getting no offer from JUPAS was bitter and painful. Yet, I was lucky enough to continue my study at HKU SPACE Community College. Honestly, the life at the College was competitive but joyful and enjoyable as the classmates and lecturers are supportive and friendly. The life at the College may not be easy, but I firmly believe that if you devote all your efforts, you would achieve a remarkable success. I really treasure what I had learnt at the College and I am certain it would help my future study and career.
HKU SPACE Community College has equipped me well for studying in university. It provides me not only with the specialized skills, but also the general knowledge of various disciplines. This helps me to better understand my interest. Besides, in HKU SPACE Community College, I have gained much more than just learning from the books. Through different projects and assignments, I have learnt the interpersonal skills which would be very useful for me in future. The lecturers are also very caring. My unsatisfactory HKALE results make me anxious about my future, but the ABA programme in HKU SPACE Community College gives a second chance to me. The programme helps me to understand my interest and define my future career goal. The lecturers at HKU SPACE Community College are very helpful. They provide not only academic knowledge in class, but also information for my further study. Besides, my presentation, interpersonal and communication skills have improved a lot through the study. Now, I am confident and well prepared for my coming year in university.
I was confused and a bit upset when I knew I got no degree offer last year. Now, I am sure that I do not regret entering HKU SPACE Community College. Its curriculum is different from that in secondary school. It is my pleasure to study for various subjects. I get all-rounded education. The syllabus is structured in such a way that makes the learning process enjoyable as it focuses on problem solving and communication skills. At the same time, the College provides a lot of valuable opportunities for me to widen my horizons. There is full support from lecturers and counselors, which helps one progress. Studying at the College is absolutely a critical time in my life and now I am determined to be a teacher. Finally, “It is tough, it is worth” is a good reflection of my school life at the College. What a marvelous experience during my study in HKU SPACE Community College! I felt extremely thankful as it is a spring board to the university. I have to extend my great gratitude to all lecturers for providing the best to me. With their support, I got excellent results in every semester, and that is recognized through inclusion in the 2005-2006 Principal's Honours List.
The lecturers in HKU SPACE Community College not only teach us professional knowledge, but also impart to us the moral philosophy, which will benefit my whole life. Furthermore, here I learnt to have a well-planned timetable which is necessary for success. I learnt managerial and organization skills as being a group leader in the CCSU Orientation Camp (AD), which are fundamental assets for a successful person.

對我來說，經香港大學附屬學院HKU SPACE Community College的副學士課程進入大學跟從高考途徑入大學的最大分別是:讀HKU SPACE Community College幫助我認清自己的興趣，及提升了大學學士課程所需的技巧。在認清興趣方面，學院的副學士課程對幫助我發掘自己對不同學科的興趣是十分有效的。學院的商業課程十分實用，老師的講解亦十分詳細，令人容易明白，充分引起我對各科的興趣，亦幫助我認識到金融是我最有興趣的學科。至於在提升技巧方面，有別於中學課程的單向式教學，學院的課程提供了一個寶貴的機會我跟老師、同學作學術討論，交流意見，從而大大提升我的presentation skills，自信、團隊合作精神等等，而這些personal qualities亦是日後修讀大學學士課程所必需要的，我深信這些personal qualities將大大提高了我日後在大學裡的競爭力。

Being an associate degree student wasn’t easy. There are people who look down on me everyday just because I am not a real university student. They would call it a vain hope whenever I tell them I will be one eventually. I am constantly under the pressure of trying to enter a university and it is extremely frustrating having people who doubt my ability to succeed.
My goal to pursue a degree in business came from the inspiration brought by my marketing teacher. It was through his teaching that my horizon was enormously broadened. It leads to my realization of the importance of business along with strategic thinking. It is believed that doing business is inevitable in everywhere at anytime.
Despite the failure of entering university in Year 1, I never gave up. During Year 2, I worked extremely hard in order to get a better result. At the end, it paid off. I received terrific results and I was granted with several interviews by various universities which I applied for.
In HKU SPACE Community College, I realized that lots of schoolmates had outstanding results in A-Level exams. Therefore, you have to be extra tough to compete with them as well as challenge your own self! Word hard and good luck. See you in University!
在入讀本學院時，總覺自己不如其他同屆的高考生，自覺副學士遠不如大學生。雖說有機會重回本科生行列，心裡還是有點落幕，入學初時，只視進修學院為踏腳石，有種被迫的感覺，更談不上甚麼喜愛之詞。
直至一位老師說到，若自己不是心甘情願的去讀，只會令自己越讀越辛苦，最後一事無成。那時，自己茅塞頓開，若自己不求上進，妄自菲薄，只會徒勞無功。再一次失敗，反而懷著正面心態，總能事半功倍。經過第一個學期，成績不俗，並發覺學院的課程內容與大學的大同小異，為我日後重返大學奠定基礎。除了課堂外，我亦成為中文學會司庫及參與學院欖球隊比賽，讓我提升待人接物、計劃處事、團隊合作等技巧，是無可取締的。
經過兩年的努力，我終能獲取大學取錄，繼續追求自己的理想。或許因為自己曾遭遇鐵盧，才更加珍惜眼前的學習機會，我亦以自己是從港大附屬學院畢業為傲。
During the 2-year period in HKU SPACE Community College, the interactive learning curriculum helped me to equip myself with good interpersonal and leadership skills, which are very useful for pursuing my Bachelor degree. Also, the lecturers of HKU SPACE are very helpful. They provided me with useful guidance on academic aspects and university applications. I particularly like the learning atmosphere because all students are devoted and dedicated to pursuing the same goal - entered university. This positive learning environment can be regarded as my motivation, and I can develop a good learning attitude during the 2 years in HKU SPACE Community College. HKU SPACE Community College makes me understand what is meant by “All roads lead to Rome”. Although I got unsatisfactory results in AL examination, I managed to overcome this and adjust my learning approach. With determination, we can get a place in our ideal university programme.
Exam-oriented school life might not be suitable for some students like me. If you are looking for an institution in which all-round development would be considered as important as exam results, then perhaps a sub-degree is what fits you best. The mode of education in HKU SPACE Community College is very different from secondary school, as it emphasizes training students’ learning and self management skills instead of merely pressuring students with a heavy workload.
Among all institutions, I chose HKU SPACE Community College which offers high quality education to motivated students. I think I have made the right choice for I have more than one offer from universities after just one year of study. If I can make it, so can you!
At first, I was very depressed to accept that I would become one of the associate degree students after the failure in A-level examination. However, it was not hard for me to get along with my new friends and adapt to this new environment. Besides, I gradually found out that some of the generic courses have broadened my horizon in other aspects apart from the specialized knowledge which I have been acquiring. At the same time, the all-round student development service further assisted me to advance along the path to university.
I'd like to thank HKU SPACE Community College for giving me a valuable chance to take the Associate of Business Administration program. One-year of study in the College allowed me to identify my real interests and advanced my personal development. With the help of professional and patient lecturers, I have not only gained the foundation knowledge of business subjects, but also realized the situation of today’s business world. 正所謂光音似箭，日月如梭，在HKU SPACE Community College的兩年光景眨眼間就過去了。這兩年對我來說，可算是學習生涯最辛苦的兩年。回想兩年前，高考失敗，人生感到徬徨和無助。經老師介紹，於是選擇了HKU SPACE的副學士課程。
初初入到HKU SPACE Community College，面對新的學習環境，人生路不熟，感到陌生和格格不入。幸好，我很快便渡過了這段適應期。在College裏，朋友是十分重要的，因為在這裏學習，再不像中學般"單打獨鬥"，這裏每一科都有group projects，需要你和你的同學通力合作才能完成。而且同學之間，可以互相督促和鼓勵，一起朝著大學之路進發。所以我會鼓勵入讀HKU SPACE Community College的同學要主動認識朋友。還有，同學一定要有清晰的目標，而且要堅持到底。我想大多數入讀副學士課程的同學最終的目標都是升讀大學。同學一定要時刻提醒自己，入讀副學士的目的是什麼，絕不能渾渾噩噩地過這兩年。
Studying in HKU SPACE Community College has been really a wonderful experience for me. This is because I can not only learn academic knowledge, but also communication and presentation skills. The College focuses on holistic education which means that students not only study their core subjects but also other versatile subjects. This also assures me with a great chance to be admitted to a local university. If I were not studying in HKU SPACE Community College, I am not sure that I could enter into my dream university - The University of Hong Kong.
Comparing the knowledge that we learned in HKU SPACE Community College with that in other institutions, I found that ours is much more professional. We have to do lots of presentations in various courses with increasing requirements on each. I would say these two-year courses train us well. All the things that we learned from here are definitely useful. Not only academic perspective, but our life is also enriched. I have become more mature and independent in different areas.
Getting university offers is always our target. This year, I am so glad that I have been granted several offers from PolyU and CityU. This has also been a trend for other students at the College. This proves that our professional knowledge in HKU SPACE is widely recognised. HKU SPACE Community College is absolutely the path to the university.
想不到時間過得這麼快，回想當年高考放榜，自己的成績不足以入讀理想的學系。我懷著戰戰兢兢的心情來到HKU SPACE Community College，開始了我副學士的生活。過了一年時，看見身邊的朋友都已經升上大學而自己還沒有時，確實有點失望。但我仍努力去讀好Year 2的每一科，裝備好自己，並為未來的大學面試做好準備，今年我除了可以考上大學，還覺得自己成長了不少。
兩年前，我不太喜歡自己要修讀副學士，覺得要入讀副學士是因為自己成績不好，比別人低了一層，而且，好似沒有一個明確的目標。可是，經過這兩年副學士生涯，我真是學會了很多，身心感受到自己真正成長了。我不但得到學術上的知識，更學到做事要絕對的認真，一切都是由自己掌握。在副學士的兩年，認識到很多好同學，他們每位都很了不起，都有自己的長處。而 且，我非常多謝各位老師，他們都很樂意解答同學的問題，不只是學科上，還有學生個人的問題，亦師亦友的態度令我更加容易投入學習。由此，我不再討厭副學士，還十分欣賞副學士的學生，副學士是一個好好的地方給學生全面的準備升讀大學，可以令我更容易投入將來的大學生活，得到更多更好的知識。不論是升學或是求職，副學士都是一個很好的緩衝區，給我更清楚自己及自己將來的目標。
我本身是一個Science既學生，A-level都係考得不太好，如果要升讀大學，可以選擇的只有Pure Science的degree。但是讀了咁多年science我真是覺得唔適合自己，所以好想試試其他學科。就在放榜後幾日，我就決定入讀HKU SPACE Community Colleg的ABA Programme。
我在College讀了一個禮拜，已經知自己冇揀錯，學院的lecturers好好人，課程又設計得好實用而又好有趣。除了個讀書過程好開心之外，個結果亦令人好振奮，我讀完2年Associate Degree後，收到多個大學俾我的Business programme offers，這些offers就是我努力2年的成果。
回想起一年前，大學聯招放榜後，我並未獲得任何一間大學的學位，結果我決定修讀港大附屬學院工商管理副學士，希望將來可以再升讀香港大學的會計及金融系。這一年間，我有很多得著，演講能力和分析能力也有所提升，也學會了與人溝通的技巧，亦有些是心境上的轉變，對於個人成長而言，非常有幫助。此外，講師的支持和寶貴意見亦幫助了我不少，我感激不已。非常興幸，我在完成副學士第一年後便獲香港大學會計及金融系取錄。另外，城市大學的金融工程系和浸會大學的金融系亦取錄了我。
高考成績放榜後，我的成績未如理想，但是當時已下了決心日後在大學必會報讀與商業有關的課程。可惜，我在中學讀書時只修讀過會考的經濟科，對其他商業有關的科目不太認識。在HKU SPACE Community College修讀工商管理副學士能讓我在一年級時修讀各種不同的科目，這不但加深我對商科的興趣，還為我打 好往後升讀大學的基礎。另外，各位老師在上課時有詳細的講解，而他們在課後亦會幫助同學解決學習和報大學上的問題，這些都是令我踏上大學之路的重要因素。
The HKU SPACE Community College not only equipped me with academic knowledge, but also helped me explore my future paths. My college life turned out to be fruitful. It has shaped me into who I am now, and undoubtedly it has given me the promise of a brighter future.
My study in the Community College is both fruitful and rewarding. After graduating from the ABA programme, I was most delighted to receive six university offers from various local universities, including HKU, CUHK, PolyU and CityU. The ABA programme has laid a social foundation for my university study and indeed helped me understand my strengths and interest. After studying in the ABA programme for a year, I can definitely say that the decision to join the College has proved to be a right one. With my HKALE results, certainly I would never be able to enter into my dream university, HKU. Yet the College has made my impossible dream come true. What makes the College stand out from others is its learning atmosphere. The lecturer-student interaction and peer support that I experienced acted as a very strong driving force that kept me going. The College has prepared me well for my university education, and helped pave the path to success.
The ABA programme in HKU SPACE Community College has not only given me exposure to many business disciplines and allowed me to identify my real interest, but also enable me to get admitted to the second year of my favorite programme - China Business programme. The courses I have taken in the ABA programme lay a solid foundation for me and are extremely useful to my university study right now. Besides, I was selected from the university to join an exchange programme in the U.S. in the coming semester. My decision to join the ABA programme was definitely a right one!
After I completed my fi rst year ABA programme, I was most happy to be admitted to one of the best business programmes in HK -- the Economics and Finance Programme in HKU. The ABA programme has given me excellent training in my presentation and interpersonal skills, which are extremely important to a business student.
Besides,the lecturers in the College are very helpful and gave me useful advice in choosing and applying for university programmes. Studying in HKU SPACE has paved for me the way to further my studies at the most prestigious university in HK.
After completing the ABA programme, I was glad to receive four university offers - from HKU, PolyU, CityU and BU. In the ABA programme, we were required to do many group projects and presentations in various courses, which have indeed helped me develop my analytical, presentation and communication skills. They also helped me build up my confi dence. I fi rmly believe that all the knowledge and skills that I learned in the College will be very helpful to me in overcoming new challenges in my future.
