The rapid economic growth in China has brought tremendous opportunities to the global arena of business and trade. Since the implementation of CEPA in January 2004, the economic and trade co-operation between China and Hong Kong has expanded sharply. Hong Kong, as the southern gateway to China, is strategically located to "leverage the Mainland China and engage ourselves globally". Undoubtedly, making strategic moves to the China market has become one of the most important directions for future development in local business.

Programme Aims & Features

This programme focuses on discussing the economic, social and political development of Greater China. This enables students to have a thorough understanding of its economic development and business culture. This programme also introduces the latest development in the trading and business sectors in Mainland China, and the new business opportunities associated with the continuous liberalization of the China market.

Another distinctive feature of this programme is the comprehensive and broad-based curriculum in all major disciplines of business administration. In the first year of study, you will be equipped with the fundamental knowledge of all major business areas, including Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management and Marketing. This not only enriches your horizon but also provides you with an integrated view of various business functions in the commercial world. In the second year, you will specialize in a study theme for a more in-depth training in that particular area.

Opportunities for Further Studies

This programme has an excellent track record of assisting our graduates to enter into government-funded undergraduate programmes in various local universities.
