Creative Studies is the only AD programme in Hong Kong bringing together a number of exciting areas into a structured curriculum: Visual and Performing Arts, Creative Writing and Industries. This programme is a response to the demand for creativity and innovation in a world of constant transformation, a world in which creative quality has become the key factor for a successful knowledge-based economy.

Programme Aims & Features

Creative Studies allows you to select from a variety of subject areas: Visual Art, Performing Art, Creative Industries and Creative Writing. This theme also aims to develop your abilities through practice and critical reflection on that practice, while also honing your creative understanding in other subject areas, such as film studies, humanities and music.

Opportunities for Further Studies

This theme, a combination of creative and critical practice, enables you to interconnect your core courses with different humanities, language and media electives, and allows you to follow your inclinations and creative practice interests at undergraduate level.

Career Prospects

Creative Studies equips students with practical skills and critical understanding in areas of visual and performing arts. Graduates are prepared for diverse careers, at entry level, in the fields of arts administration, photo-journalism, copywriting, the film industry, publishing, art and design, public relations and art administration.
