在修讀市場學及管理(MMG)兩年課程的日子裏，學校的學習生活不但有趣，而且十分充實。透過講師詳細的講解和互動的教學方式、不同課堂的小組討論和多元化的研習報告，大大增加了我對學習的興趣，提高我們的表達演說技巧及人際溝通能力；講師的悉心教導，在各方面給予我們寶貴的意見，讓我們能把學習的商業理論知識，在討論功課和報告中淋漓盡致地發揮出來，使我們在建立理性及批判的思考方面有著顯著的進步。
講師除了教導我們課程知識外，在學術上和升學選擇等問題為我們提供了寶貴的意見，亦是我們的指引明燈，對我將來在人生道路上有著很大的意義。最深的體會是講師們經常提醒大家要謙虛學習，要明白「山外有山，天外有天」的道理，故此要「知己知彼，百戰百勝」，讓自己更能慫容面對前面一段又一段的挑戰！感謝教導過我的講師們，令我在大學的生活中，更時刻提醒自己應本著「學問勤中得，富裕儉中來。」的道理去不斷努力學習。
The Higher Diploma in Business (Marketing and Management) programme is a demanding yet challenging programme. It requires critical thinking, rich creativity, logical analysis and good communication skills. Lecturers who are teaching on the course possess extensive experience and knowledge of the current market. The lectures combine theories and real-life examples, and the lecturers teach in an interesting way therefore making it easy for us to understand.
The challenges I faced in studying this course have made me a stronger person in facing the future. I will undoubtedly pursue further education in this field so that I can make a contribution to our society.
After graduation from HKU SPACE last year, I am now working in a multinational corporation as management trainee. In the last two years at HKU SPACE, I have learnt much useful knowledge in marketing and management. In addition, my presentation and interpersonal skills have substantially improved. I can say with confi dence that the knowledge and skills which I learnt from the Marketing and Management Programme will help me develop my career in the future.
I found the programme structure and content to be very substantial and have prepared me well for future employment opportunities. With the support of our teaching staff, I enjoyed group discussions and project learning a lot. Working as a team provided me chances to develop effective communication and conflict management, organisational, and leadership skills.
The programme did not merely deepen my interest in business marketing, but also my knowledge in customer communication and business management. I would undoubtedly pursue further education in this field.
