HKU SPACE Global College, Suzhou

Through HKU SPACE, the University of Hong Kong has jointly established the HKU SPACE Global College Suzhou with the University of Science and Technology, Suzhou (USTS) and Global Edu Tech Management Group (GEM). Established in 2005, the College is located in Suzhou to meet the long-term demands of economic and social development in the Yangtze River Delta region. The College has designed career-oriented, tertiary education programmes that are international and practical, and accredited by globally recognised relevant professional bodies and universities.

The College offers two-year Associate Degree and three-year Dazhuan Diploma programmes, specialising in Accounting, Business Administration, Business English, Hospitality Management, International Finance, International Trade, Logistics Management and Marketing. Associate degree graduates will be awarded within the HKU system through HKU SPACE. Geared towards top-up degree in overseas universities, the programme attracts many local as well as overseas students. From 2010 onwards, the programme will open its door to Hong Kong students. It will provide Hong Kong students a new and rare opportunity to attend Associate Degree Programme inside China, to learn more about Chinese language and culture, and to understand the meaning of China's rapid economic growth at a very competitive cost. Dazhuan graduates can receive two qualifications: the Associate Degree as well as the Dazhuan Diploma recognised by the Chinese government. The graduates of Dazhuan can also articulate to degree programmes of local or overseas universities.
