SOUL 2.0

  • What is SOUL 2.0? 

    SOUL 2.0 is a complete e-learning solution provided by HKU SPACE. It is an important part of the School's commitment to providing quality teaching and learning support to instructors and learners with the latest technology in education.

    SOUL 2.0 serves as a one-stop portal allowing the learners and instructors to access online courses as well as other e-learning resources. It supports collaborative learning, and enhances community building and interactions between teachers and students.  Learners are provided with opportunities to share information, ideas and learning resources while teachers are equipped with different teaching tools to promote collaborative learning.

    Who has access to SOUL 2.0?

    SOUL 2.0 is available to all registered HKU SPACE learners and instructors. Programme directors of individual programmes will design a combination of the SOUL 2.0 features to be made available to learners of their programmes. We also serve learners, instructors and staff from HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Community College.

    Blended learning policy

    The School introduced a blended learning policy on adopting a blended approach to learning, which combines traditional face-to-face classroom learning with a minimum level of basic e-learning features as described below. According to the School’s policy, the basic e-learning features should be made available to all learners of the School in award-bearing programmes. Besides, advanced e-learning features are available to facilitate course delivery with more sophisticated e-learning elements.

    Users are able to use their Learner Portal/Teacher Portal/Staff Intranet account to login SOUL 2.0.
